Saturday 16th Sept 2006 - 3rd X1 @ home v Elton Vale CC (1.00 start)
We bat first and as last week crash out to a low score - 88 all out.
James Ashton top scored with 29 followed by Lee Needham with 17.
Once again everyone seemed to think the wicket was 'tricky' - and we gave them
about 13 overs and seemed to be staring at another defeat.

Not all was lost though, Elton started to lose wickets regularly with a procession of batsmen
heading back to the pavilion after facing Danny Molyneux.
Danny claimed the first 7 wickets and had Elton reeling at 36 for 7.
They now think the wicket is tricky - but this week the force was with Greenfield.
A run out, a wicket for Graham Farrow, a clean bowled for Ashley Dearden and it was all over.
Elton Vale 54 all out - 5 points to Greenfield
Bowling - D Molyneux 7 for 24, A Dearden 1 for 4, G Farrow 1 for 8, and an excellent run out.

3rd X1 lose to Elton Vale.
Greenfield 152 all out - J Brocklehurst 76, J Ashton 31.
Elton Vale 156 for3 - G Farrow 1 for 27, K Diskin 1 for 30, J Shaw 1 for 31.
Graham Farrow is still the Club's leading wicket taker with 36 victims to his name so far this season!
